Role Description
We are seeking a full-time Lecturer in Computer Networking to join our team at the Colombo branch. The responsibilities include delivering engaging lectures, facilitating practical sessions, designing and updating course materials, and mentoring students to build their skills in computer networking. The role also involves evaluating students’ performance, assisting with curriculum development, and staying updated on advancements in networking technologies. This is an on-site role that requires a commitment to fostering industry-ready professionals.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Computer Networking concepts and protocols such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN.
- Proficiency in configuring and troubleshooting network devices, including routers, switches, and firewalls.
- Experience with industry-standard networking certifications like Cisco CCNA, CCNP, and/or relevant certifications.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills for effective teaching and student engagement.
- Proven ability to develop educational materials, curriculum design, and assessment methods.
- Knowledge of emerging networking technologies such as SDN, cloud networking, and network automation is an added advantage.
- Problem-solving and analytical skills to address technical and academic challenges.
