About the role
IT Park University is hiring full-time and part-time instructors across a range of IT-related subject areas, including Software Engineering, QA/Test Automation, Web/Full-Stack Development, Cloud/DevOps, Data/AI, and Cybersecurity.
As the first university in Uzbekistan focused on practical IT education and hybrid learning delivery, ITPU is committed to providing industry-relevant, high-quality academic instruction aligned with the evolving needs of the technology sector.
We are looking for professionals who can contribute within a defined subject area across our bachelor’s programmes and selected master’s-level courses. This is a fully remote teaching role and includes online instruction, student assessment, academic consultations, and contribution to course and curriculum enhancement.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver engaging online classes within your area of expertise.
- Assess student assignments, coursework, and projects, and provide timely feedback.
- Conduct academic consultations and support student learning and development.
- Contribute to course improvement and curriculum enhancement.
- Collaborate closely with the academic team to ensure consistent course delivery and learning outcomes.
- Teach several related disciplines within your subject area across different semesters.
Areas of interest
- Programming / Software Engineering: Python, Java, C#, algorithms, data structures, databases, software design, software architecture.
- Web / Full-Stack Development: HTML/CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, React or Angular, backend development, web security, cloud integration.
- QA / Testing: software testing fundamentals, test automation, advanced QA practices, SDLC, quality engineering.
- Cloud / DevOps: cloud computing, CI/CD, DevOps fundamentals, systems, networks, platform engineering.
- AI / Data: AI foundations, machine learning, deep learning, generative AI applications, big data fundamentals.
- Cybersecurity: information security, web security, cloud security, security engineering, security architecture, and related areas.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in a relevant field as a minimum qualification.
- Strong industry expertise in the relevant subject area.
- Up-to-date technical knowledge and familiarity with modern tools and practices.
- Ability to teach effectively in English.
- Confidence working in a fully online teaching environment.
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills.
- Practice-oriented approach to teaching and learning.
Preferred qualifications
- Experience teaching at the university level (in English).
- Experience teaching at the master’s level.
- Experience supervising student projects.
- Background in applied research or industry-driven R&D.
- Experience developing industry-relevant teaching and learning materials.
