Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Lecturer role located in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. The Lecturer will be responsible for delivering lectures, conducting academic research, creating course materials, and mentoring students. The role will include developing and implementing innovative teaching strategies to inspire and engage students, as well as contributing to curriculum development. Collaboration with fellow educators to enhance the learning experience and support students in achieving their academic goals will also be critical components of this role.
Qualifications
- Expertise in subject matter with strong teaching and public speaking skills
- Curriculum development, academic planning, and course design experience
- Proficiency in research methods, academic writing, and publication processes
- Ability to effectively mentor and guide students in their academic and professional development
- Strong organizational, communication, and collaboration skills
- Master's degree or higher in the relevant field (doctoral degree preferred)
- Prior teaching experience in higher education is an advantage
- Familiarity with modern teaching tools and learning management systems is a plus
