Education
The Department of Education Policy Studies in the Faculty of Education at Stellenbosch University (SU) is a research-intensive department. Its activities are informed by the following strategic orientations:

- Emphasis on integrating research, teaching and service;
- Epistemology and knowledge construction as central concerns;

Duties/Pligte
- Undergraduate and postgraduate teaching, including the development of theoretical frameworks, content and assessment strategies.
- Research and publications.
- Student supervision and co-supervision.
- Evaluation of teaching practice.
- Administration.
Job Requirements/Pos Vereistes
- PhD with a specialisation in education.
- An appropriate teaching qualification.
- Teaching experience in higher education.
- Evidence of a publications record.
- Evidence of a supervision record at honours and master's level.
Recommendation/Aanbeveling
- Experience and knowledge of contemporary debates in education and policy studies in South Africa.
- Evidence of trans-disciplinary collaborations.
