Reach for Inclusion provides tailored education for young people with SEND who need a different approach to learning. Through our learning centres, outreach services, and training programmes, we create safe, nurturing environments where students can thrive.
This is a hands-on, rewarding role where no two days are the same.
- Work closely with teachers to support students with SEND and EHCPs
- Deliver tailored interventions and adapt learning materials
- Provide 1:1 and small group support to keep students engaged
- Build strong, trusting relationships with students
- Support emotional regulation and positive behaviour
- Encourage independence, confidence, and social skills
- Support students with personal care or mobility needs where required
- Champion a culture where every student feels valued
- Contribute to EHCP reviews and learning plans
- Maintain a safe and supportive environment at all times
- Follow safeguarding and health & safety procedures
- Uphold professionalism and confidentiality

- Experience working with children or young people with SEND
- Ability to build strong, trusting relationships
- Confident supporting behaviour and emotional needs
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant (or similar qualification)
- Experience with autism, ADHD, SEMH, or complex needs
- Knowledge of strategies like PECS, Makaton, or sensory approaches
