Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Lead Two-Year-Old Teacher to join our vibrant early childhood education team.
In this role, you will be at the forefront of nurturing young learners during a critical stage of childhood development. As a leader in the classroom, you will design developmentally appropriate activities, foster positive behavior, and collaborate with families to support each child’s unique journey. Responsibilities Develop and implement engaging curriculum tailored specifically for two-year-olds, incorporating literacy education, early intervention strategies, and foundational math concepts. Create a warm, welcoming classroom environment that promotes toddler care, social-emotional growth, and childhood development milestones. Plan and execute daily lesson plans that include physical education, sensory activities, and age-appropriate play to stimulate curiosity and learning.
Manage classroom behavior through positive reinforcement techniques and effective behavior management strategies to ensure a safe and respectful space for all children. Collaborate with families by communicating regularly about each child’s progress, developmental needs, and classroom activities to foster strong partnerships. Maintain detailed records of children’s developmental progress, standardized testing results when applicable, and individualized learning plans.
Supervise and mentor assistant teachers or aides, providing guidance on classroom management and instructional best practices aligned with Montessori or other early childhood education philosophies.
Qualifications
Proven classroom management skills with experience teaching preschool or toddler-aged children in daycare or private school settings. Strong knowledge of childhood development principles, early intervention techniques, and special education accommodations for young learners.
Demonstrated expertise in curriculum development across literacy education, math fundamentals, physical education, and classroom activities for toddlers. Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with children, families, staff, and community partners. Certification or coursework in early childhood education or child welfare is highly desirable.
Ability to foster an inclusive environment that supports diverse learning needs through differentiated instruction and behavior management strategies.

Associates degree or higher in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred. Candidate will be considered if degree is in progress. EDU 119 credentials
Must be able to work a shift between the hours of 7 am to 6 pm.
Pay: $17.00 – $21.00 per hour
