Position Details:
Schedule: Two Positions Available: Mon-Fri 12:30-5:00, Tues/Wed/Fri 8:30-3:30
Location: Centrally located in beautiful Petaluma, CA
Pay: $21.00 – $23.00 per hour, based on experience
Student-Teacher Ratio: Never more than 12:1
Age Range: 2 to 5 years old

Your Role:
As a teacher at Happy Hearts, you’ll:
Foster curiosity, creativity, and confidence through play-based learning
Implement curriculum and engaging centers that spark joy and discovery
Supervise and support children in their daily activities: play, snack, storytime, art, music, nap, and nature exploration
Ensure a safe, nurturing, and clean environment (including diapering and bathroom assistance)
Collaborate with your team to maintain a positive, respectful atmosphere
Get a little muddy, a little silly, and a lot inspired by our kids!
What We’re Looking For:
Experience working with young children
A love of nature and enthusiasm for outdoor play
Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills
Willingness to jump into the joys and messes of early childhood learning
Required Certifications:
At least 12 Early Childhood Education (ECE) units (6 units accepted for substitutes)
Livescan Fingerprinting (or transfer)
TB Test clearance
Pediatric CPR & First Aid certification
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $21.50 – $23.50 per hour
