Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Childcare Provider to join our team. As a Childcare Provider, you will be responsible for creating a safe and nurturing environment for children in our care. Your role will involve engaging children in educational activities, providing basic caregiving, and ensuring their well-being throughout the day.
Duties:
– Develop and implement age-appropriate educational activities and lesson plans
– Provide attentive and compassionate care to children
– Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment
– Supervise children during playtime, meals, and naptime
– Foster positive social interactions among children
– Monitor children’s development and report any concerns to parents or supervisors
– Collaborate with other childcare providers to create a cohesive team environment
– Follow all safety protocols and maintain a secure environment for children
Requirements:
– Previous experience working with children in a childcare or educational setting
– Knowledge of child development principles and age-appropriate activities
– Strong classroom management skills
– Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
– CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
– High school diploma or equivalent (early childhood education certification preferred)
