KS2 Teacher

The first Awfaz Global School was founded in 2009 and offers an outstanding British-style education to children in the local community. We have 3 campuses across Doha with around 1,500 students. We cater for all nationalities; however, the majority of our students are Qatari Nationals. Our school is continually expanding to meet the needs of our community by providing high-quality education from Early Years up to IGCSE and A Levels. Awfaz Global School is committed to providing a supportive and engaging learning environment where students are encouraged to become confident, independent, and globally minded learners. We are looking for a passionate and dedicated KS2 Teacher to join our team for August 2026. The successful candidate should have strong experience teaching Primary students within the British Curriculum and demonstrate the ability to create engaging and inclusive learning experiences that support academic and personal growth.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons in line with the British Curriculum for Key Stage 2 students.
  • Create a positive, safe, and stimulating classroom environment that supports student learning and wellbeing.
  • Assess, monitor, and track student progress to ensure high levels of achievement and development.
  • Differentiate teaching strategies to meet the needs of students with varying abilities and learning styles.
  • Maintain effective classroom management and promote positive behaviour and respect.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, coordinators, and school leadership to support curriculum development and school initiatives.
  • Communicate effectively with parents regarding student progress, behaviour, and wellbeing.
  • Participate actively in school events, meetings, duties, and professional development opportunities.
  • Support the pastoral care and overall development of students both academically and socially.

Skills & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Education or a related field.
  • Proven experience teaching Primary students within the British Curriculum, preferably in Key Stage 2.
  • Strong understanding of primary teaching methodologies, assessment, and classroom management strategies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Passion for teaching and the ability to motivate and inspire young learners.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team within a multicultural environment.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
  • A creative and enthusiastic approach to teaching and learning
