Company Description

Magnolia Academy is a bilingual English and Polish kindergarten and nursery inspired by the Reggio Emilia approach, located in Swojczyce within the Olimpia Port community in Wrocław.

Role Description

Early Childhood Educator

Magnolia Academy | 2026–2027 school year

Magnolia Academy is looking for a warm and grounded Early Childhood Educator to join our team.

We are open to applications for a lead teacher, co teacher, or assistant educator. We are also open to a bilingual educator who can support both English and Polish learning within the classroom. Please note this role will always be part of a team, and the successful candidate will not be the only adult in the classroom.

What matters most to us is finding the right person who aligns with our values and approach.

This role is for someone who sees early childhood as a meaningful and protected stage of life and who can help create an environment that feels calm, rhythmic, and deeply nurturing. The ideal candidate will support a space that fosters children’s curiosity, independence, and love of learning. Knowledge of the EYFS framework is an advantage, as is familiarity with the Reggio Emilia approach, including child led learning and the role of the environment as the third teacher.

You might be a good fit if you:

• Have experience in Waldorf early childhood, Lifeways, Reggio Emilia, or similar approaches

• Can support and maintain a gentle, consistent daily rhythm for children aged 1 to 6

• Enjoy painting, baking, storytelling, puppet work, and simple handcrafts

• Feel comfortable leading circle time, telling stories from memory, and singing, where heart and presence matter more than perfection

• Love being outdoors in all seasons, including nature based play, gardening, and caring for animals

• Can guide children with a calm and respectful presence while supporting authentic play

This is a hands on role. It includes supporting children in daily care routines such as toileting, hand washing, transitions between indoor and outdoor spaces, and being fully present throughout the day.

We are looking for someone who brings warmth, steadiness, and care, and who can help create a childhood experience that feels simple, meaningful, and grounded.

If this resonates with you, we would love to hear from you.

Qualifications

• Relevant early childhood education qualification such as diploma, degree, or equivalent in Early Years Education or Nursery Teaching

• Experience working with children aged 1 to 6

• Understanding of the EYFS framework is highly desirable

• Familiarity with the Reggio Emilia approach is an advantage

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for working with children, parents, and colleagues

• Experience in supporting early childhood development and learning

• Creativity, patience, and a reflective approach to teaching

• Ability to work collaboratively within a team and adapt to a bilingual learning environment

• Knowledge of the Polish curriculum is an advantage
