In this role, you will work under the Special Education Director, focusing on delivering personalized instruction and supporting students’ unique learning needs. You should be adept at employing various teaching strategies and integrating a biblical perspective in your lessons. Your strong communication skills will play a vital role in partnering with families and staff to ensure student success.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
• Provide tailored instruction to small groups and individuals
• Employ best practices for differentiated instruction
• Foster strong communication with families and staff
• Infuse Christian values throughout the learning experience
Requirements:
• Valid BC Professional Teaching License
• Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field
• Experience teaching in K-12 settings
• Knowledge of current pedagogical practices
• Excellent listening and teaching skills
