Engage the community by training election staff within the City of Vancouver. The Junior Election Trainer develops and delivers electoral training to ensure seamless voting operations.

As a Junior Election Trainer, you will be instrumental within the Election Office team. This role requires developing and implementing training initiatives for around 2,200 voting staff. You’ll collaborate with subject matter experts, create educational materials, and engage with various stakeholders to enhance the election experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver training for election workers

• Create and update training documentation and materials

• Conduct needs assessments to identify training gaps

• Evaluate training effectiveness and make necessary adjustments

• Provide end-user support and solutions on voting days

Requirements:

• Diploma in adult education or equivalent experience

• Proven experience in training delivery and program development

• Familiarity with public sector training practices

• Strong organizational and time management skills

• Excellent interpersonal and leadership abilities
