Responsibilities
Full time PERMANENT Intermediate/Secondary Social Studies with other teaching duties – Classroom Teacher position. Duties to commence September 8, 2026.

Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor of Education – Primary-Elementary
- NL Teaching Certificate – Level IV or higher
- Social Studies Major (10 courses)
- Appropriate Training Methods
- Equivalencies will be considered
Salary and Incentives
- Annual Teacher Salary Scale contained within the NLTA Provincial Collective Agreement and benefits contained within the agreement.
- A taxable $2,550.00 Isolation Allowance (paid bi-weekly) as outlined in Article 24 of the NLTA Collective Agreement.
- Subsidized housing units may be available in Francois, Grey River, and Change Islands.
- For those who need to relocate, a one-time round-trip travel claim of up to $1,500.00 is available, paid upon arrival and at the end of the school year. Pro‑rated repayment may be required if there is a break in the contract.
