Role Description
We are seeking a full-time Instructor to join our team in Yangon for an on-site role. As an Instructor at FICOLO, you will be responsible for developing and delivering engaging lessons in coding, AI, and digital learning for children and teenagers. The role also includes designing project-based activities, mentoring students, and evaluating student progress. Additionally, you will collaborate with the curriculum team to ensure lessons align with global education standards and foster students’ creativity, innovation, and problem-solving skills.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in coding languages such as Python, Java, or Scratch, and experience with AI concepts or robotics.
- Strong skills in educational delivery, including lesson planning, classroom management, and engaging a young audience.
- Effective communication, mentorship, and interpersonal abilities to foster a positive learning environment.
- Familiarity with project-based learning frameworks and hands-on teaching methods.
- A passion for technology education and nurturing creativity and innovation in learners.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Education, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Teaching experience, especially with children or teenagers, is preferred.
- Flexibility to adapt to diverse learning styles and cultural sensitivities.
