Position: Instructor for Social Development Course
Teach Introduction to Social Development as a Sessional Instructor at the University of Manitoba. This role involves preparing materials, grading assignments, and engaging with students.

The College of Community & Global Health is seeking a qualified Sessional Instructor for the FMLY 1012 A01 course. Starting on September 1, 2026, through December 18, 2026, you will instruct and evaluate students while maintaining regular office hours. Strong communication and empathy are essential in this role to support the educational needs of students effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare instructional and testing materials for the course

• Instruct and evaluate student performance in class

• Mark and provide feedback on exams and assignments

• Maintain regular office hours for student support

• Foster an inclusive and engaging learning environment

Requirements:

• Master’s degree or Ph.D. preferred

• Excellent communication skills in English

• Specialization in social development required

• Demonstrated competence in post-secondary teaching

• Empathetic approach towards student concerns
