Kookum’s Place is actively seeking an Infant Director to lead a 38-space infant program focused on Indigenous perspectives and early childhood development. You will be responsible for the program’s overall operations, compliance with MELCC standards, and mentoring ECE staff.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage centre operations, staffing, and scheduling

• Ensure adherence to Manitoba licensing and safety standards

• Design culturally relevant educational programs

• Mentor and support ECE staff development

• Handle enrollment and administrative tasks

Requirements:

• ECE Level III Certification essential

• Minimum of 5 years in early childhood leadership

• Strong understanding of MELCC regulations

• Current First Aid and CPR certifications

• Must pass all necessary background checks
