Richmond Christian School seeks a passionate Inclusion Teacher to empower diverse learners at our Secondary Campus. Join us in fostering an inclusive, supportive classroom that enriches students’ understanding of a Biblical worldview.
This part-time (0.5 FTE) role requires a BC certified educator dedicated to Christian Education and the BC Curriculum. Ideal candidates should excel in supporting students with diverse learning needs and demonstrate a commitment to creating a positive classroom environment.
Your role will blend academic, social-emotional, and behavioral support, enhancing the educational experience of all students.
Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with staff on inclusive teaching strategies
• Support students’ academic and emotional growth
• Document adaptations for progress reports
• Participate in IEP meetings and write Learning Plans
• Build student profiles with teachers based on needs
Requirements:
• Bachelor of Education with Inclusive Education training
• Experience in learning support or inclusive education
• Knowledge of Universal Design of Learning
• Legal authorization to teach in BC
