Role Description This is a full-time, on-site IELTS Trainer role based in Da Nang City, Vietnam. The IELTS Trainer will deliver engaging and effective lessons focused on all IELTS skill areas (Listening, Reading, Writing, Speaking) to diverse groups of learners. Responsibilities include preparing lesson plans and teaching materials, assessing learners’ proficiency, providing regular feedback, and tracking progress toward target band scores. The role involves conducting mock tests, reviewing student performance, and developing strategies to improve outcomes. The IELTS Trainer will also participate in curriculum development, collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching quality, and support administrative tasks related to classes and student counseling as needed.
Qualifications
- Strong English Teaching and Teaching English as a Foreign Language skills, with the ability to instruct learners of varied levels.
- Proficiency in IELTS preparation, including familiarity with exam formats, scoring criteria, and test-taking strategies.
- Competence in Lesson Planning and Teaching, ensuring structured, outcome-focused, and learner-centered classes.
- Excellent command of spoken and written English, ideally at or above C1 level or equivalent.
- Bachelor’s degree in English, Education, Linguistics, or a related field; TESOL/TEFL/CELTA certification is an advantage.
- Prior experience teaching IELTS or academic English in a classroom setting is preferred.
- Strong classroom management, communication, and interpersonal skills, with a learner-focused mindset.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic environment and adapt to institutional teaching standards and schedules.
