Role Description This is a full-time, on-site IELTS Faculty role based in Ahmedabad. The IELTS Faculty will conduct classroom and individual training sessions covering all modules of the IELTS exam, including Listening, Reading, Writing, and Speaking. Responsibilities include preparing lesson plans, creating practice materials and mock tests, and assessing student performance with constructive feedback. The role involves mentoring students on test strategies, time management, and language improvement, while maintaining accurate records of progress and attendance. The faculty member will collaborate with counseling teams to align training with students’ study abroad plans and may contribute to workshops, seminars, and academic support initiatives as needed.
Qualifications
- Strong command of English language, including grammar, vocabulary, and pronunciation, with clear and confident communication skills.
- Experience teaching IELTS or similar English proficiency tests, with familiarity in all four test modules and current exam formats.
- Ability to design structured lesson plans, develop practice materials, and adapt teaching methods to different learning styles.
- Skill in assessing student performance, providing detailed feedback, and tracking progress using appropriate tools or reports.
- Bachelor’s degree in English, Education, Linguistics, or a related field; relevant teaching certifications (TESOL, TEFL, CELTA, or IELTS Trainer) are an advantage.
- Comfort working in an on-site, classroom-based environment in Ahmedabad, with a collaborative approach toward colleagues and students.
- Strong organizational skills, punctuality, and the ability to manage multiple batches or student groups efficiently.
- Prior experience in the overseas education or training sector is preferred but not mandatory.
