Role Description
We are seeking a dedicated IELTS Coach and GEP (General English Program) Teacher for a full-time, on-site role at our campus in Olympia City. Responsibilities include delivering engaging IELTS preparation and General English classes for students of diverse age groups, creating tailored lesson plans, monitoring individual student progress, and providing detailed feedback. The role involves continuous assessment, preparation for key tests, and fostering a positive classroom environment to encourage active participation and continuous improvement in English language proficiency. Teachers will also collaborate with other staff to ensure alignment with Aspen Learning Academy’s teaching methodologies.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in IELTS preparation and General English teaching methodologies, including curriculum design and structured lesson planning
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage students and provide constructive feedback
- Competence in classroom management and the ability to create a positive and interactive learning environment
- Cultural sensitivity and adaptability to work with a diverse student body in an international setting
- Bachelor's degree in Education, English, Linguistics, TESOL, or a related field; TEFL/TESOL certification preferred
- Proven experience teaching IELTS and General English Programs; familiarity with facilitating adult learners and young language learners is a plus
- Passion for education, motivation to inspire students, and an innovative approach to teaching
