Role Description The IBDP English Teacher will teach International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme English courses, delivering engaging, inquiry-based lessons aligned with IB standards. Day-to-day responsibilities include lesson planning, preparing teaching materials, assessing student work, providing constructive feedback, and supporting students in developing strong analytical, writing, and critical thinking skills. The role involves collaborating with colleagues, participating in school events, contributing to curriculum development, and maintaining accurate records and reports. This is a full-time, on-site role based at Oakridge International School, Gachibowli in Hyderabad.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong English Teaching and Teaching skills, with demonstrated experience at the high school or IBDP level.
- Candidates should possess solid Lesson Planning and curriculum design skills, including the ability to create engaging and differentiated learning experiences.
- Candidates should possess a background in Education, ideally with formal teacher training or a degree in English, Education, or a related field.
- Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills, including clear spoken and written English and the ability to work effectively with students, colleagues, and families.
