Eligibility:
Master’s degree in English / English Literature / Language Arts / Education
Mandatory teaching certification such as
B.Ed., PGCE, or equivalent
Strong command of written and spoken English
Teaching Experience
Typically 3–7 years of teaching experience in secondary/senior secondary levels
Prior experience in IB DP / MYP or Cambridge IGCSE is strongly preferred
Experience handling English Language & Literature (HL/SL) students
IB Curriculum Competency
Familiarity with IB philosophy and learner profile
Understanding of:
Inquiry-based and concept-driven learning
Internal Assessment (IA), External Assessment structure
TOK-related critical thinking approach
Training in IB workshops (Category 1/2/3 English) is an added advantage
Key Skills Expected
Ability to develop critical thinking, analytical writing, and interpretation skills
Lesson planning aligned with IB unit planning and ATL skills
Differentiation for diverse learners (including ESL/ELL students)
Strong classroom management and mentoring ability
Professional Attributes
Collaborative mindset (working with coordinators and faculty teams)
Commitment to student wellbeing and holistic development
Use of technology-integrated teaching methods
Continuous professional development mindset (IB training encouraged)
