Position: Human Physiology II Lecturer 2026
The University of Toronto is seeking a Sessional Lecturer for PSL
301H1 (Human Physiology II) for the Summer Session 2026. This role involves delivering pre-recorded lectures and supporting students throughout the term.

As a Sessional Lecturer, you will teach during July and August 2026, focusing on the cardiovascular, renal, blood/immune, respiratory, and gastrointestinal systems. Qualifications include a PhD in physiology and prior experience in lecturing, especially in large classes. You will create examinations and assist students in understanding complex physiological concepts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver 8 pre-recorded online lectures on cardiovascular physiology

• Conduct online help sessions for students

• Develop term and final exam questions

• Coordinate with the Course Director for course logistics

• Provide necessary accommodations for students during the course

Requirements:

• PhD in physiology or related discipline

• Experience teaching large classes

• Familiarity with Quercus learning platform

• Prior experience with PSL
300/301H courses preferred
