Decor Interior Ltd. is looking for Home Tutor (Early Years – IB PYP with OT & Speech Support)
Job Description / Responsibility
We are looking for a gentle, patient, and child-friendly Home Tutor for a 5-year-old child following the International Baccalaureate (IB) – Primary Years Programme (PYP).
The tutor will support early childhood development through play-based, inquiry-based, and activity-oriented learning at our residence in Gulshan-2, Dhaka. In addition, the tutor should have knowledge or practical experience in basic Occupational Therapy (OT) and
- Teach according to IB PYP philosophy (inquiry-based and concept-driven learning)
- Support Early Childhood Development with structured and engaging activities
- Integrate basic Occupational Therapy techniques
- Fine motor skill development
- Sensory and coordination activities
- Support (Speech & Communication Development):
- Pronunciation and vocabulary building
- Expressive and confident speaking
Teach basics:
- Mathematics (numeracy, patterns, logical thinking)
- English (phonics, speaking, reading readiness)
- Bangla (basic reading, speaking, rhymes)
- General Communication Skills
- Use stories, games, visuals, and real-life examples
- Maintain a positive, pressure-free learning environment
- Share regular progress updates with parents
Educational Requirements
- Bachelor/Honors
- Education Background in Education / Early Childhood Development / Psychology will be an advantage
Experience Requirements
- 3 to 7 year(s)
- The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Training Institutes, Educational Technology (Edtech) Startup

- Child Engagement & Behavioral Understanding
- Early Intervention Techniques (OT & Speech support – preferred)
- Speech & Language Development to support fine motor skills, sensory activities, pronunciation, and overall communication skills.
- Strong English communication skills are essential, along with the ability to interact confidently and effectively with the child in both English and Bangla.
