Role Description This is a full-time, on-site High School Social Studies Teacher role based in Nashik. The teacher will plan and deliver engaging lessons in Social Studies and related disciplines, including topics such as World History, civics, and geography aligned with the school curriculum. Daily responsibilities include preparing lesson plans, teaching classes, assessing student progress, providing constructive feedback, and maintaining accurate records of student performance. The role also involves collaborating with colleagues on curriculum development, participating in school events, facilitating classroom discussions that promote critical thinking and global awareness, and communicating regularly with parents or guardians regarding student development. The teacher is expected to create an inclusive, respectful classroom environment and support the holistic growth of each learner.
Qualifications

  • Strong subject-matter expertise in Social Studies and World History, with the ability to connect concepts to real-world contexts.
  • Experience in Curriculum Development and Education, including designing lesson plans, assessments, and learning activities aligned with standards.
  • Effective Communication skills for classroom instruction, student guidance, and collaboration with colleagues and families.
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Education, History, Social Sciences, or a related field; formal teacher training or certification is preferred.
  • Prior experience teaching at the middle or high school level, ideally within a structured school environment.
  • Ability to manage classrooms positively, use diverse teaching methods, and integrate basic educational technology where appropriate.
