High School IB History Teacher Jobs in Los Angeles, CA at New Covenant Academy
New Covenant Academy is a Christian K-12 school in the heart of Koreatown, Los Angeles.
We’re looking to hire a high school IB History teacher for the upcoming school year (2026-27) at our upper school campus. Our upper school campus consists of 8th – 12th graders. Candidates must have minimum of Bachelor’s degree in the relevant field, but preference is given to candidates with either M.A. in History or Single Subject Credential in History. Candidate must also be able to teach Economics/Government. Experience teaching at an IB school is a plus. Must possess excellent verbal and writing skills, as well as passion for Christian school education. Class sizes are small (around 15 students per class), and collaboration with other teaching staff is required/supported.
This position is for either the first semester or for a year. The position fills a spot while our history teacher is on maternity leave.
Salary is commensurate with experience and education. Benefits are available.

Pay: $45,000.00 – $60,000.00 per year
