Role Description
As a full-time Head Teacher at Phoebe Hearst Preschool, you will lead and manage classroom environments, implement and adapt curriculum plans, and ensure the emotional and cognitive development of young learners. Key responsibilities include designing engaging learning experiences, collaborating with parents and staff, and modeling best practices in education. This is an on-site role based in San Francisco, CA, requiring active classroom participation and mentorship of team members.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in Curriculum Development and expertise in Pedagogy to create and implement effective learning plans.
- Strong background in Education and Educational Leadership to guide classroom management and support a collaborative learning environment.
- Excellent Communication skills to engage with parents, staff, and students effectively.
- A passion for fostering the growth and development of young learners.
- Relevant certifications in early childhood education or a related field are highly desirable.
- Experience working with diverse populations and promoting an inclusive environment.
- Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Education, Early Childhood Development, or a closely related discipline preferred. Child Development Master Teacher Permit Preferred.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $70,000.00 – $75,000.00 per year
