Role Description
The Head of School roles (x3) and the Dean (Academic) role (x1) are full-time, on-site positions based in Birmingham. The responsibilities include providing strategic leadership and oversight for academic programs, developing and maintaining educational curriculums, fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment, and collaborating with faculty and industry partners to enhance student outcomes. Additional tasks involve conducting research, driving innovation, and ensuring alignment with the institution's mission to equip learners for the digital economy.
Qualifications
- Expertise in Curriculum Development and Educational Leadership
- Strong background in Education and facilitating learner success
- Highly effective Communication skills, including the ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders
- Experience and proficiency in developing sustainable new business, enterprise and research, with a focus on learner, community and industry needs
- Proven ability to lead academic teams and drive institutional goals
- Commitment to fostering diversity, equity, and inclusion in education
- A doctoral or master's degree in education, leadership, or a related field is highly preferred
