Role Description

This is an on-site, full-time role based in the United Kingdom for a Head of Apprenticeships. The Head of Apprenticeships will oversee the planning, delivery, and quality assurance of the College's apprenticeship programs to maintain excellence and industry relevance. Responsibilities include managing employer partnerships, ensuring compliance with national apprenticeship standards, and leading a team of educators and staff to deliver exceptional training and learner outcomes. The role requires strategy development, performance monitoring, and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to grow the apprenticeship offering.

Qualifications

  • Proven leadership skills in managing teams and delivering strategic plans
  • Experience in apprenticeship program management, compliance, and quality assurance
  • Strong communication, stakeholder engagement, and relationship-building skills
  • Knowledge of national apprenticeship frameworks, funding regulations, and industry standards
  • Ability to work collaboratively within an educational and employer-partner network
  • Understanding of state-of-the-art teaching and training methodologies
  • Bachelor’s degree in education, business, or a related field; a relevant teaching or professional qualification is desirable
