Eligibility/Qualification–

Qualifications Relevant Branch Remuneration B.E./B.Tech and M.E./M. Tech in relevant
branch with 1″ class or equivalent either in
B.E./B.Tech M.E./M.Tech from a recognized University OR 1st class or equivalent in B.E./B.Tech in
relevant branch and Ph.D. in relevant branch from a recognized University. OR M.Sc./M.A. in relevant branch with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) and must have cleared NET conducted by UGC/CSIR or similar test accredited by UGC like SLET/SET. Candidates who have been awarded a Ph.D. degree in accordance with UGC Ph.D. regulations 2009 may be exempted from the requirement of NET/SLET/SET. Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Mathematical Statistics, Applied Statistics, Operation Research, Mathematics & Computing, Industrial Mathematics, Mathematics & Computer Applications, Financial Mathematics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Science & Engineering, Computer Technology, Computer Applications, Computer Engineering & Applications, Computer Science & Technology, Computer Technology & Applications, Information Technology, Software Engineering etc. As per the University norms.
Job/Position Description-
Department of Applied Mathematics, Delhi Technological University invites applications for panel of guest faculty positions on purely temporary basis for the upcoming odd semester of the academic year 2024-25 to engage theory/lab classes of UG/PG courses. Payment will be made on hourly basis as per the university norms. Interested candidates are required to apply through the following google form latest by 26th Jun 2024.

In case, a large number of applications are received, the Department may adopt shortlisting/screening criteria based on the credentials of the candidates. The required essential qualifications are enclosed as Annexure-I. Syllabus of B.Tech. (Mathematics and Computing)/M.Sc.(Mathematics) is available on the university website. Date of interview will be notified shortly. So, keep visiting the website for the announcement of the same.
Note : TA will be paid separately @ Rs. 800/- & Rs. 500/- for Professor/Associate | Professor & Assistant Professor respectively.

Walk-in Interviews for the appointments of Guest Faculty to teach Cosmology & Astrophysics (EP316) and Instrumentation & Control (EP314) to B.Tech. (Engineering Physics) students for even–semester, 2022–23, in the Department of Applied Physics will be held on 03.01.23 in the office of the Head of the Department as per the schedule given below: –
Schedule Time Reporting 2:30 PM Document Verification 2:45 PM Interviews 3:00 PM
All the applicants are advised to bring their original certificates and other relevant documents for verification along with the duly filled application form (provided at the time of the interview). No walk-ins will be entertained once the interview process commences.
No TA/DA will be paid to the candidates appearing for the interview.
