Role Description The Grade 2 Teacher will be responsible for planning and delivering daily lessons across core subjects, facilitating classroom activities, and supporting the overall development of grade 2 students. This full-time, on-site role in Lalitpur involves creating age-appropriate learning materials, assessing student progress, and providing constructive feedback to learners and families. The teacher will manage classroom behavior, foster a positive and inclusive learning environment, and adapt teaching methods to meet diverse learning needs. Additional responsibilities include collaborating with other teachers and school leadership, participating in trainings and meetings, and contributing to school events and initiatives.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Education and Teaching, with experience working with early primary or grade 2 students.
- Ability to design effective Lesson Planning and classroom activities that align with curriculum standards.
- Excellent Communication skills for interacting with students, families, and colleagues.
- Experience in Training or mentoring learners, with a focus on creating supportive learning experiences.
- Relevant academic qualification in Education or a related field; teaching certification is an advantage.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain a safe, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment.
- Comfort working in an on-site school setting in Lalitpur and collaborating within a team-oriented culture.
- Strong organizational skills, reliability, and commitment to continuous professional development.
