Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Mexico City, Mexico, for a Gerente de Convenios Académicos y Alianzas de Formación at Certiprof.
The role involves establishing, developing, and managing strategic partnerships with universities, academies, training companies, continuing education institutions, and corporate learning organizations. The ideal candidate will identify opportunities for collaboration, negotiate commercial and academic agreements, and maintain long-term relationships aligned with Certiprof’s growth strategy.
Daily responsibilities include prospecting new partners, scheduling meetings, presenting Certiprof’s training and certification ecosystem, managing partnership pipelines, coordinating onboarding processes, and ensuring successful relationship management with partner accounts.
The role also includes promoting additional Certiprof services such as certifications, digital badges, workforce upskilling solutions, corporate training initiatives, and educational partnership programs. The candidate will be expected to contribute to the expansion of Certiprof’s presence within the education, corporate training, and professional development sectors across Mexico.
Qualifications
- Strong relationship management, negotiation, and partnership development skills.
- Experience working with universities, academies, training companies, continuing education departments, or corporate learning environments.
- Proven experience in business development, account management, partnerships, sales, or educational consulting.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Spanish and English (bilingual proficiency required).
- Knowledge of the education sector, corporate training industry, certification ecosystems, and workforce development initiatives is highly beneficial.
- Ability to identify growth opportunities and develop strategic alliances that generate long-term value.
- Strong presentation and stakeholder management skills.
- Strategic thinking, problem-solving abilities, and strong commercial orientation.
- Proficiency in CRM platforms, productivity software, virtual meeting platforms, and project management tools.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple accounts and partnership opportunities simultaneously.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Education, International Business, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience in EdTech, certifications, training services, or professional development industries is considered a strong advantage.
