Gen Ed Teacher – Providence, Rhode Island

Bachelor’s degree in Education, valid state Teaching license or certification, and 1+ years Teaching experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

An opportunity is available for experienced General Education Teachers to work full-time in an elementary school setting in Providence, RI. This contract position offers openings for 2nd grade and 4th grade classrooms, covering all core subjects.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive instruction across all subject areas for elementary students
• Develop and implement lesson plans tailored to grade level standards and student needs
• Maintain a positive, supportive classroom environment that fosters learning and student growth
• Monitor and assess student progress, adapting teaching approaches as necessary
• Collaborate with school staff to support academic goals and school initiatives

Qualifications:

• Experience teaching general education at the elementary level, specifically 2nd or 4th grade
