Role Description
This is a paid part time remote position for a GCSE Tutor. Matrix Maths specialises in free maths education but are expanding to paid English and Science lessons.
As a GCSE Tutor you are responsible for:
- creating personalized lesson plans
- delivering online tutoring sessions
- evaluating student progress
- adapting teaching methods to meet individual learning needs.
- regularly communicating with students and their guardians,
Qualifications
- A grade 7+ in chosen subject
- Proficiency in using online platforms and technology for delivering virtual lessons
- Effective teaching, communication, and instructional skills
- A passion for education, patience, and the ability to inspire and motivate students
We will prioritise applications based on:
- Highest GCSE grades in chosen subject
- Whether the subject is taken at A-level and what grade achieved/predicted
- Experience is desired but not necessary as training will be provided
