Overview:
We are seeking a motivated Functional Skills Curriculum Tutor to deliver engaging online English and maths sessions to apprentices (Levels 2–5) within the education and early years sector. You will support learners’ development, create high-quality resources, and help drive outstanding teaching standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver interactive online Functional Skills English & maths sessions (primarily under 18s)
- Tailor learning to meet individual learner needs and starting points
- Develop and maintain engaging teaching materials and recorded lessons
- Motivate, support and inspire learners to achieve their goals
- Provide feedback to tutors and collaborate with internal teams
- Monitor attendance and maintain accurate records
Requirements:
- Experience teaching Functional Skills English & maths
- Background in Further Education or similar
- Strong online delivery and IT skills
- Ability to engage and inspire learners
Desirable:
- Teaching or assessor qualification
- Degree (ideally in early years or related field)
