Beyondia International School is a part of Kurihara Gakuen Group, an educational corporation that operates multiple institutions from IB-authorised kindergartens, international preschools, local city nurseries, dental hygiene vocational schools and after-school cram schools. 

At Beyondia International Schools, our mission is to contribute to society by nurturing the next generation. Currently, we have three campuses: Beyondia International School Ikebukuro, Beyondia International School Meguro, and Beyondia International School Kashiwanoha. Each facility strives to achieve IB accreditation, with Ikebukuro and Meguro already recognised as IB World Schools. We are excited to announce our expansion to Mita, where we will be opening a new campus: Beyondia International School Mita.

We believe that children learn through fun, hands-on experiences and play, and as such, we are looking for an English-speaking homeroom teacher who loves learning and playing as much as children do! We strive to help our little learners discover the world around them and find what they are passionate about. We understand the impact of having healthy development in early childhood, so we are devoted to setting the foundation for lifelong and real-world learning by giving the opportunity to each child to unlock their innate curiosity, creativity and enthusiasm.

This is a full-time salaried position with an immediate start date. 

What we offer (salary)

  • Monthly salary starting at ¥270,000 (including a base salary of ¥250,000 and a monthly guaranteed bonus of ¥20,000) 
  • There are also additional bonuses twice a year (summer and winter.)
  • Work-related commuting costs are reimbursed. 
  • Social Security & Health Insurance
  • Ten paid days of leave a year after six months of work.

Responsibilities

  • Regular working shifts fall between 7:45-19:00, Monday through Friday. 
  • Lead activities for children aged 1.5-6 years old.
  • Provide childcare with the Japanese staff. 
  • Occasional work on weekends.
