AKLIO is a newly created company based in Vannes teaching English to children (+6 years), teenagers, students and adults. Our ambition is clear: allow everyone to speak English as real natives. Thus, AKLIO has elaborated an innovative training program based on different but complementary experiences: AKLIO Home (One-to-One Home Tuition from primary school till high school), AKLIO Academy (post-BAC students) and, in the upcoming months, AKLIO Immersion (international immersion programs) and AKLIO Business training.
AKLIO is building a new way to learn English through premium training combining performance, kindness, and personal support. Thus, AKLIO has developed its own methodology based on: Acquisition, Knowledge, Language Practice, Immersion, Oral Expression.
Role Description
AKLIO is currently seeking enthusiastic and qualified Freelance English instructors to teach English to its prospective students. Depending on the program (AKLIO Home, AKLIO Academy, AKLIO Business), the role can be :
- an on-site role involving travel to students' homes in Vannes and the surrounding area (AKLIO Home).
- done online (AKLIO Academy for post-BAC students, AKLIO Business for adults).
Your mission is to help students gain confidence, improve academic performance, and develop practical communication skills through high-quality, tailored instruction.
Please note that AKLIO Home is not offering English tutoring but real training in English through different programs of 3 months, 6 months, 9 months.
Responsibilities include:
- Delivering engaging and personalized English lessons.
- Adapting teaching methods to each student's needs and objectives.
- Supporting school English programs and exam preparation.
- Encouraging confidence and fluency in spoken English.
- Monitoring progress and providing feedback to students and parents.
- Follow AKLIO methodology.
- Attend scheduled teacher training sessions
Qualifications
- Native or near-native level of English.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Previous teaching, tutoring, coaching, or mentoring experience preferred.
- Ability to build positive relationships with learners.
- Reliable, professional, and punctual.
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- TEFL, TESOL, CELTA, or equivalent qualification is an advantage.
Additional Information
- For AKLIO Home, lessons take place exclusively in students' homes.
- For AKLIO Academy (post-BAC students) and AKLIO Business (adults), lessons can be done online or at the student's place.
- Flexible schedule based on instructor availability.
- Primarily after-school, late afternoons, Wednesday, and Saturday teaching hours.
- Location: Vannes and surrounding communities.
