Role Summary
We are looking for a passionate and dynamic Foundation Faculty to mentor and guide first-year design students. The role focuses on building strong fundamentals in design thinking, visual exploration, and creative problem-solving, while fostering a collaborative and engaging learning environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver foundation-level courses covering basic design principles, visual language, and creative exploration
- Introduce and apply design thinking methodologies in classroom and studio practices
- Mentor students through hands-on projects, encouraging experimentation and critical thinking
- Understand diverse student learning styles and adapt teaching methods accordingly
- Collaborate with internal faculty teams for curriculum planning and interdisciplinary integration
- Support students in developing portfolios and foundational skill sets
- Conduct assessments, provide constructive feedback, and track student progress
- Contribute to workshops, exhibitions, and academic activities
Qualifications & Eligibility
- Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in Architecture / Design / Furniture Design
- Preferred graduates from CEPT, SPA Delhi, SAP Chennai, NIT Trichy, NID (Furniture Design or related fields)
- Exposure to design thinking (preferably from CEPT / NID or equivalent programs)

- Strong understanding of design fundamentals and visual communication

- Good communication and presentation skills
