Position Overview:
We are seeking a reliable, flexible, and energetic Floater Teacher to join our team! This role is perfect for someone who enjoys variety in their day and loves working with children of different ages. As a floater, you will support multiple classrooms throughout the school, helping to maintain smooth daily operations.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in classrooms ranging from infants through Pre-K
- Provide coverage for teacher breaks, planning time, and absences
- Support classroom routines, including meals, nap time, and learning activities
- Help maintain a safe, clean, and engaging environment
- Build positive relationships with children, families, and staff
- Follow all licensing and school policies
Qualifications:
- Experience working with young children preferred
- Must meet Maryland State Department of Education (MSDE) requirements (or be willing to obtain)
- High school diploma required; coursework in Early Childhood Education a plus
- Positive attitude, flexibility, and strong teamwork skills
- Ability to move between classrooms and adapt quickly
Schedule:
- Full-time position
- 9-hour shift with a 1-hour lunch break
- Must be available to work year-round, including summer

- High school or equivalent (Required)
Experience:
- Early childhood education: 1 year (Preferred)
License/Certification:
- 90 hour early childhood education certification? (Preferred)
