Position:
DLRT and Intermediate Science Teacher
Required Teaching
Qualifications:
- A valid Ontario College of Teachers Certificate
- A valid Certification of Registration from the Ontario College of Teachers
- Intermediate Science
- Special Education Part 2
– Specialist Preferred
Position Criteria:
- Knowledge of Ministry Curriculum and Assessment documents
- Demonstrated experience with Apple based software and Mobile devices (iPad/Mac Book/iMac)
- Evidence of understanding of varied learners with a focus on ‘at-risk’ students
- Evidence of supporting Literacy and Numeracy from a whole school perspective
- Evidence of integration of technology for the documentation and evaluation of student work
- Ability to work as part of a school team and to communicate effectively
