GSL Education is currently seeking a dedicated
Early Years Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant team and support pupils in Receptionwithspeech and language difficulties . This
exciting
role will see you working with a small group of children outside of the classroom, focusing on developing their
communication skills
and supporting their progress.
Key Responsibilities:
Support a small group of Reception children with speech and language challenges outside of the classroom environment.
Work closely with the class teacher and the speech and language therapist to implement strategies and interventions.
Create a positive, nurturing environment that fosters confidence and encourages
communication
development.
Assist children with their social, emotional, and academic development.
Encourage active participation and engagement in various activities designed to support speech and language improvement.
Essential Requirements:
Previous experience working with children in some capacity (ideally in Early Years settings).
A caring and patient approach to working with young children.
Preferably experience in aNurseryor
Receptionsetting.
Knowledge or willingness to learn about speech and language development techniques.
A passion for making a real impact on children’s lives and development.
