Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for an External Academic Examiner, based in Carlton, VIC. The role involves ensuring academic quality and integrity by assessing and moderating student assessments, reviewing course content and delivery, and maintaining alignment with national and international standards. The Examiner will collaborate with academic staff to provide feedback and guidance to improve teaching quality and academic outcomes. Additionally, they will participate in curriculum development processes and maintain external accreditations where necessary.
Qualifications
- Strong academic background and expertise within areas such as Business, Accounting, Management, IT, Telecommunications Engineering, or related fields
- Proficiency in assessment moderation, curriculum review, and academic quality assurance
- Excellent communication and feedback delivery skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with academic teams
- Hold a relevant postgraduate degree or higher in a related discipline
- Demonstrated understanding of academic regulatory standards in Australia
- Previous experience as an academic examiner is advantageous
