Working under the guidance of the Literacy Coordinator and Summer Literacy Assistant, you’ll be instrumental in delivering fun literacy programs for children aged 4 to 12. Eligible candidates should be aged 15-30 and have completed some secondary education. This role requires an energetic approach to help engage children in their literacy activities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Contribute to the delivery of summer literacy initiatives
• Organize and plan craft activities for kids
• Prepare and load materials for program delivery
• Lead games and assist children in activities
• Read stories and assist in cleaning up at the end
Requirements:
• Must have experience with children
• Strong communication and writing skills
• Ability to read aloud with enthusiasm
• Skills for teamwork and independent tasks
• Preferred First Aid/CPR Level C certification
