Role Description
The English Trainer is a full-time, on-site role based in Kecamatan Bintan Utara. This role is responsible for planning and delivering English language training programs for resort employees, focusing on communication skills needed for guest interaction and professional tasks. Day-to-day activities include preparing lesson plans and teaching materials, conducting classes and workshops, assessing learners’ progress, and providing feedback to support improvement. The English Trainer collaborates with management to identify training needs, adjusts content for different proficiency levels, and maintains accurate training records. The position may also involve developing written resources, organizing refresher sessions, and supporting broader staff development initiatives.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong skills in English Teaching, Language Teaching, and general Teaching for adult learners or vocational settings.
- Candidates should possess a solid background in Education, including understanding of curriculum design, learning outcomes, and instructional methodologies.
- Candidates should possess effective Writing skills to create clear training materials, assessments, and documentation.
- Relevant experience in hospitality, tourism, or customer service training is beneficial.
- Bachelor’s degree in English, Education, Linguistics, or a related field is preferred.
- Strong spoken and written English proficiency, with the ability to explain concepts clearly to diverse learners.
- Ability to work on-site in Kecamatan Bintan Utara, manage classroom dynamics, and adapt teaching styles to different levels.
