We are seeking a dedicated English Teacher to teach students in Classes 3–6. The ideal candidate will foster strong language, literacy, and communication skills while creating an engaging and inclusive classroom environment aligned with the CBSE curriculum. The teacher should inspire a love for reading, writing, and effective communication through innovative and student-centered teaching practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging English lessons in accordance with the CBSE curriculum.
- Develop students' proficiency in reading, writing, speaking, listening, grammar, vocabulary, and comprehension.
- Encourage creative writing, storytelling, public speaking, and literary appreciation.
- Use activity-based, experiential, and technology-enabled teaching methodologies to enhance learning.
- Design and administer formative and summative assessments.
- Provide timely and constructive feedback to students and parents.
- Identify students requiring additional academic support and implement appropriate intervention strategies.
- Create a positive, inclusive, and respectful classroom environment.
- Organize and support literary activities such as storytelling sessions, debates, elocution, reading clubs, creative writing competitions, and school assemblies.
- Participate in school events, parent-teacher meetings, workshops, and professional development programs.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's/Master's Degree in English or a related discipline.
- B.Ed. (Bachelor of Education) is mandatory.
- Excellent command of spoken and written English.
- Sound understanding of the CBSE curriculum and teaching methodologies for upper primary classes.
Experience
- Minimum 3–5 years of teaching experience in a CBSE or reputed school.
- Experience teaching upper primary students (Classes 3–6) is preferred.
