Role Description This is a full-time, on-site English Teacher role based in Sholinganallur. The English Teacher will design and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the curriculum, focusing on reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills. The role involves preparing lesson plans, teaching aids, and assessments that cater to diverse learning needs and promote language proficiency. The teacher will evaluate student performance, provide constructive feedback, and maintain accurate academic records. Day-to-day responsibilities include classroom management, participation in school events, collaboration with colleagues, regular communication with parents or guardians, and involvement in academic planning and professional development activities.
Qualifications
- Strong English Teaching and Teaching skills, with experience facilitating interactive and student-centered classrooms.
- Proficiency in Lesson Planning and curriculum implementation, including designing assessments and learning materials.
- Background in Education, preferably with experience in K–12 school settings.
- Excellent Communication skills, including clear spoken and written English and effective classroom communication.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in English, Education, or a related field; teaching certification or B.Ed. is preferred.
- Ability to use basic educational technology and digital tools to support teaching and learning.
- Strong classroom management, organizational skills, and a student-focused, inclusive approach to teaching.
- Willingness to participate in school initiatives, training programs, and continuous professional development.
