Role Description The English Teacher will be responsible for planning, delivering, and assessing engaging English language and literature lessons for learners in an on-site setting in Taguig. This full-time role includes developing lesson plans, preparing instructional materials, facilitating classroom activities, and providing constructive feedback on learners’ written and oral work. The English Teacher will manage classroom behavior, support diverse learning needs, and maintain accurate records of learner progress and performance. The role also involves collaborating with colleagues, participating in school meetings and events, and contributing to curriculum development and school-wide initiatives. The English Teacher is expected to uphold school policies and help create a safe, inclusive, and respectful learning environment.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong English Teaching and Teaching skills, with experience delivering lessons to diverse groups of learners.
- Candidates should possess Lesson Planning and Education skills to design structured, age-appropriate, and curriculum-aligned learning activities.
- Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills for clear instruction, feedback, and collaboration with learners, families, and colleagues.
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, English, or a related field; valid teaching license or certification is preferred.
- Experience teaching English in a school setting, preferably at the primary or secondary level.
- Ability to create an inclusive classroom environment that supports different learning styles and respects cultural and individual differences.
- Strong organizational and classroom management skills, with attention to documentation and assessment.
- Comfort with basic educational technology and digital resources to enhance instruction.
