Role Description
This is a part-time hybrid role for an English Teacher based in Lima, with the flexibility to work partially from home. You may also be required to travel for in person classes. The English Teacher will be responsible for designing and delivering engaging lesson plans that focus on speaking and listening skills. Additional duties include conducting interactive classes, assessing student progress, providing feedback, and supporting students in achieving their language goals.
Qualifications
- Professional-level English proficiency (C2+ or equivalent)
- Strong Spanish language skills
- Willing and able to travel for in person classes (travel costs are covered)
- 2+ years experience as ESL teacher online and in person
- Proficiency in English Teaching and core Teaching skills
- Expertise in Lesson Planning and Education techniques
- Strong Communication and interpersonal skills
- Adaptability for hybrid work and a passion for teaching English as a foreign language
- TEFL, TESOL, or CELTA certification is highly valued
- Experience with preparing students for IELTS, TOEFL and Cambridge exams a definite plus
