Role Description The English Teacher role is a full-time, on-site position based in Gulberg 2, Lahore. The person in this role will plan and deliver engaging English language lessons, covering reading, writing, speaking, and grammar in line with the school’s curriculum and standards. Daily responsibilities include preparing lesson plans, teaching classes, assessing student performance, providing constructive feedback, and maintaining accurate records of progress. The English Teacher will integrate contemporary teaching methods with the school’s Islamic ethos, collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development, participate in staff meetings and school events, and communicate regularly with parents and guardians about student learning and behavior.
Qualifications
- Strong English Teaching and Teaching skills, with experience instructing learners at school level.
- Proficiency in Lesson Planning and Education practices, including designing age-appropriate learning activities and assessments.
- Excellent Communication skills for clear instruction, feedback, and collaboration with students, families, and staff.
- Bachelor’s degree in English, Education, or a related field; a teaching certification or diploma is an advantage.
- Familiarity with contemporary teaching strategies and classroom management techniques.
- Ability to integrate Islamic values into lesson delivery in a respectful and age-appropriate manner.
- Strong organizational skills, reliability, and a learner-centered approach to teaching.
- Prior experience in a school setting in Lahore or similar context is preferred but not mandatory.
