Blackstone Recruitmentis working with aSEMHD School based in Stoke-on-Trent, who are looking for an English Teacher to join them for the Summer Term.
This is a temporary role, starting after Easter for the Summer term (at minimum).
Job Summary
Working with a School that specializes in catering to the unique needs of young people facing SEMHD challenges.
Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans that align with the curriculum and educational standards.
Teach both English Literature and Language, including reading, writing, speaking, and listening, to students of varying abilities.
Assess student progress through regular evaluations and provide constructive feedback to support their development.
Create a positive classroom atmosphere that encourages student participation and fosters a love for learning.
Collaborate with colleagues to share resources and best practices for teaching English.
Organise extracurricular activities related to English language and literature to enhance student engagement.
Maintain open
communication
with parents regarding student progress and classroom activities.
Job Specifics
Rate: £175 to £210 per day
Working Hours:
Monday to Friday
Contract Type: 3 months minimum

Essential Recruitments
UK Recognised QTS/QTLS/PGCE
Excellent
communication
and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students, parents, and colleagues.
Ability to create
innovative
lesson plans that cater to different learning styles.
Proficient in using technology as a teaching tool, including digital resources and online platforms.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
A passion for literature and a desire to instil this passion in students.
